Outdoor decking, siding and cladding, garden tiles, millwork, cogs and shafts, heavy construction, barge, shipbuilding, and almost any building project. Note: Filling is recommended to obtain a good finish.
Outstanding resistance

Against fungi, termites, and rot making it perfect for outdoor use. In addition, Ipe has a “A” Fire-resistance rating.
LOW MAINTENANCE

As Ipe is a very dense hardwood, it does not require great care. You also won’t have to sand your deck every two years to maintain a smooth surface.
